Cialis®: TADALAFIL (ta-DAL-a-fil), 5mg, 10mg & 20mg dosage, is only available with a prescription; by Lilly ICOS, LLC. Used for: Cialis® is a prescription medicine taken by mouth for the treatment of erectile dysfunction (ED) in men.
Some medicines and / or medical conditions may interact negatively with this medication. INFORM THE DOCTOR OR PHARMACIST of all prescription and non-prescription medications that you are taking. DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE if (1) you are taking or using any medicines called NITRATES IN ANY FORM or NITROGLYCERIN. Some recreational drugs called “poppers” also contain nitrates, such as amyl nitrate and butyl nitrate, (2) you are taking medicines called “alpha blockers”, other than Flomax® 0.4mg daily, (3) you have been told by your healthcare provider to not have sexual activity because of health concerns., or (4) you are allergic to Cialis® or any of its ingredients. The active ingredient in Cialis® is called tadalafil. Inform the doctor of any other medical conditions or allergies. USE OF THIS MEDICINE IS NOT RECOMMENDED if you have a history of heart conditions, high or low blood pressure, stroke, or retinitis pigmentosa. Contact your doctor or pharmacist if you have any questions or concerns about taking this medicine.

Directions for Cialis®:
Follow the directions for using this medicine provided by your doctor and/or pharmacy. This medication will come with pre-printed information. Read this information carefully and ask your doctor or pharmacy any questions you may have about taking this medication. Store this medicine at cool temperatures away from heat and light.
NEVER EXCEED THE RECOMMENDED DOSE without checking with your doctor, DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE MORE THAN once a day, DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU TAKE OR USE NITROGLYCERIN OR OTHER NITRATE DRUG FOR CHEST PAIN OR HEART PROBLEMS, including nitroglycerin tablets, patches, or ointment, OR OTHER NITRATES, such as isosorbide. If you are not sure whether a certain medicine is a nitrate, contact your doctor or pharmacist. DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE if you are taking medicines called “alpha blockers”, other than Flomax® 0.4mg daily. THIS MEDICINE WILL NOT PREVENT the spread of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), including Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV). BEFORE YOU BEGIN TAKING ANY NEW MEDICINE, either prescription or over-the-counter, check with your doctor or pharmacist. Contact your doctor or seek immediate emergency medical attention for any ERECTION LASTS 4 HOURS. A sustained erection can damage the penis. Refrain from further sexual activity and notify your doctor it you develop dizziness, nausea, pain, tightness, discomfort, numbness, or tingling in the chest, arms, legs, neck, or face at the start of sexual activity.
SIDE EFFECTS that may occur while taking this medication include possible headache, indigestion, back pain, muscle aches, flushing, and stuffy or runny nose These side effects usually go away after few hours. Patients who get back pain and muscle aches usually get it 12 to 14 hours after taking Cialis®. Back pain and muscle aches usually go away by themselves within 48 hours. If these side effects continue or are bothersome, call your doctor. CHECK WITH YOUR DOCTOR AS SOON AS POSSIBLE if you experience prolonged abnormal, painful erections, if your erection last more than 4 hours. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact a doctor, nurse, or pharmacist.
Overdose:
If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.

If your symptoms do not improve or if they become worse, check with your doctor. DO NOT SHARE THIS MEDICINE with others for whom it was not prescribed. DO NOT USE THIS MEDICINE for other health conditions. KEEP THIS PRODUCT out of the reach of children.
